Julia Stanganelli

Julia Stanganelli is an experienced professional in environmental science and education, currently serving as Operations Coordinator and Fellow at Appalachia Service Project since July 2020. Julia previously held the roles of Research Intern and Student Co-Chair of the Nitrogen Working Group at the University of Virginia from May 2017 to May 2020. Julia also coordinated summer volunteering efforts at Appalachia Service Project from May 2017 to August 2019 and gained research experience as an intern at Elkhorn Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve during the summer of 2018. Earlier experience includes working as a Math Educator at Mathnasium from September 2014 to January 2017 and as a Summer Camp Counselor for The Trustees of Reservations from June 2015 to August 2016. Julia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from the University of Virginia and participated in a program at the School for International Training from August to December 2018.
