Appalachian Voices
Leigh H. currently serves as the Director of Strategic Advancement at Appalachian Voices, focusing on fundraising from institutional donors to support programmatic needs. Previously, Leigh held positions including Director of Development at Advanced Studies in Culture Foundation, where responsibilities included planning fundraising goals and managing an advancement team. At George Mason University, Leigh worked as Associate Director of University Corporate and Foundation Relations, providing leadership in proposal development, and also served as Director of Advancement Communications, spearheading a $500 million comprehensive campaign. Prior experience includes roles at Washington National Cathedral, Georgetown University, and Cornell University, contributing to fundraising, communications, and academic instruction, complemented by a Ph.D. in Medieval Studies from Cornell University.
