Nitin Kapoor

Nitin Kapoor has a diversified work experience spanning over various industries. Nitin currently holds the role of Category Head- Consumer Electronics at Appario Retail Private Limited since September 2021. Prior to this, they were the Lead, Audio Category at the same company from February 2020 to August 2021.

Before joining Appario Retail Private Limited, Nitin worked at Amazon where they held several roles. Nitin served as the Head- General Trade & Kiosks from April 2019 to January 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Sr Program Manager from September 2018 to March 2019, and as a Sr Marketing Manager from June 2016 to August 2018.

Nitin'sexperience also includes working at Microsoft as a Marketing Manager- Brand Activation (Feature Phones) and Marketing Manager- Retail from September 2015 to May 2016, and July 2015 to May 2016, respectively.

Nitin started their career at Nokia where they worked as a Marketing Manager from September 2012 to June 2015, and as an Area Sales Manager from October 2010 to August 2012.

Prior to Nokia, they worked at Reckitt Benckiser as an Area Sales Manager from June 2009 to September 2010, and as a Management Trainee from June 2008 to May 2009.

Nitin began their professional journey at Maruti Udyog Limited as an Assistant Manager from June 2005 to June 2006, and as a Graduate Engineering Trainee from June 2004 to May 2005. Overall, Nitin Kapoor has gained extensive experience in various roles and industries throughout their career.

Nitin Kapoor's education history begins in 1997 when they attended Our Lady of Fatima Convent School in Patiala, where they completed their 10th standard. In 1999, they moved on to Govt. Mahindra College in Patiala, where they completed their 12th standard in the Non-Medical stream. Nitin then attended Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology in Patiala from 2000 to 2004, earning a Bachelor's degree (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering. Nitin further pursued their education at Management Development Institute in Gurgaon from 2006 to 2008, obtaining a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) with a specialization in Marketing.
