Sr. Full Stack Developer at AppBrilliance

Bob Herro has over 25 years of experience in software engineering. Bob began their career in 1996 as a Software Systems Engineer at Diebold, Inc., where they were responsible for software architecture and development of low-level software and middleware for major cash dispensing devices. Bob also worked closely with teams and clients in multiple countries. In 1998, they joined Tellog Systems, Inc. as a Development Engineer, where they developed and supported custom security systems and time-and-attendance software. In 2004, they moved to Diebold Election Systems, Inc. as a Software Systems Engineer and developed and supported touchscreen and optical scan voting machines with a focus on Windows CE application development. Finally, in 2021, they joined AppBrilliance, Inc. as a Sr. Full Stack Developer. Prior to that, they worked at VHT as a Sr. Software Developer, where they worked in various roles including Team Lead, DevOps, and Software Developer. Bob enjoyed writing clean code for the company's telephony-related software products and practiced Test-Driven Development whenever possible. Bob also enjoyed mentoring others along the way.

Bob Herro received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Akron in 1998. In 2019, they obtained a Certified SAFe® 4 Practitioner and Certified SAFe® 4 Scrum Master from Scaled Agile Inc.
