Rubem Carneiro

Rubem Nakamura is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in various development roles. Currently serving as a Senior Platform and Data Engineer at Appcues since November 2021, Rubem specializes in Elixir/Phoenix applications, focusing on managing millions of events daily and providing insightful analytics for customer onboarding experiences. Previously, Rubem held positions at Crazy Egg as a Full Stack Developer, contributing to detailed click heatmaps and visitor session recordings, and at Envato as a Software Developer, working with Ruby on Rails and AWS infrastructure. Earlier experience includes roles at Pressed.net, World Wide Web Hosting LLC, Codeminer42, Kinkarso Tech, ThoughtWorks, and PRAV at UFRGS, covering diverse areas including WordPress hosting, Rails projects, and C/C++ applications. Rubem holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.
