Geoff Bowen

Geoff Bowen has over 25 years of experience in the media processing and delivery technology industry. Geoff is currently serving as the Chief Technology Architect, North America at Appear, a leading provider in the field. Prior to their current role, Geoff worked as a Senior Architect at Nevion. Geoff also served as a Principal Consultant at National TeleConsultants (NTC) and as a Video Account Manager at Tektronix. Geoff has an extensive background in complex technology sales and solutions for TV playout, workflow, and media processing. Geoff has held roles such as Senior Technology Architect at Snell Advanced Media and VP Business Development at Amberfin. Geoff's expertise includes virtualization, cloud platforms, and software-defined infrastructure. Geoff started their career as a Senior Support Engineer at Pro-Bel and subsequently worked as a Product Manager in various roles at Snell & Wilcox and Pro-Bel. Geoff's extensive experience and expertise make him a valuable asset in the media processing and delivery technology industry.

Geoff Bowen obtained a BSc Hons degree in Mathematics and Computing from the University of South Wales, where they attended from 1995 to 1999.
