Henning Schmiedehausen

Henning Schmiedehausen is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in software architecture and advisory roles. As Chief Architect at AppFolio, Inc. and Varo Bank, Schmiedehausen has demonstrated expertise in leading technical initiatives. Additionally, as an Advisor to the CTO at both Talentspace and Subskribe, Schmiedehausen provides strategic guidance in technology development. Schmiedehausen is an active member of The Apache Software Foundation, serving as Vice President of the Apache Velocity Project and as a Board Member. Educationally, Schmiedehausen holds a Diplom-Informatiker degree in Computer Science from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, earned from November 1988 to April 1996.
