Justin Pearson

Justin Pearson is a seasoned software engineering manager at AppFolio, Inc., overseeing cross-functional product-development teams since February 2018. Previously, Justin served as a Senior Software Engineer Technical Lead and a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on developing high-quality, web-based SaaS accounting software. Prior to AppFolio, Justin gained valuable research experience as a Graduate Student Researcher in Electrical and Computer Engineering at UC Santa Barbara and worked as a Controls Engineer at AeroVironment, where prototype Hydrogen-powered aircraft were flight-tested. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UC Santa Barbara, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara.
