James Lugenbell

James Lugenbell has extensive experience in environmental services and customer management. Currently serving as an Environmental Specialist at Appalachian District Health Department since July 2017, James previously held various managerial roles at Walmart from 2007 to 2017, including Support Manager and Customer Support Manager, where responsibilities included supervising associates, handling customer service operations, and managing cash register activities. Prior experience includes serving as Check Out Supervisor at Sam's Club (2003-2007) and Kitchen Shift Manager at Goldston's Restaurant (2000-2002). James holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Appalachian State University (2005-2008) and an Associate of Science in Pre Engineering from Catawba Valley Community College (2003-2005).
