Darren Parsons

Darren Parsons is a Senior Geologist at Appian Capital Advisory. Prior to joining Appian, Darren served as a Mine Superintendent at Nyrstar from October 2018 to May 2022. From January 2016 to October 2018, they were the Chief Geologist at Kinross Gold Corporation. Darren also worked as a Senior Mine Geologist at Barrick Gold Corporation from July 2012 to January 2016 and as Lead Exploration Geologist at St Andrew Goldfields Ltd. (SAS) from October 2010 to July 2012. Darren began their career as a Geologist at North American Palladium Ltd in May 2010.

Darren Parsons has a Master of Science from Boston University Metropolitan College in Financial Management and a BSc from Queen's University in Geology.

They work with Ralph Penner - Director, Mining, Ken Brisebois - Director, Mineral Evaluations, and Richard Hatcher - Senior Geologist. Darren Parsons reports to Marcus Scholz, VP, Mining.
