Kristen Bussmann

Kristen Bussmann is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in real estate and facilities management. Currently serving as the Director of Global Real Estate and Facilities at Appian Corporation since July 2021, Kristen previously held the role of Senior Manager in the same department. Prior experience includes a tenure at FINRA from September 2010 to July 2021, focusing on corporate real estate, office space construction project management, space design, and space planning. Earlier in Kristen's career, significant contributions were made as an Industrial Engineer at Bechtel National Inc, working on power plant designs for notable projects such as the Prairie State Energy Campus and Turkey Point Nuclear Generating Station. Kristen began the journey at Bechtel National Inc as a Power Plant Design Intern. Academically, Kristen holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from Virginia Tech and is currently enhancing education through Columbia Business School Executive Education.
