Mark Matheos

Mark Matheos is the current CFO at Appian. Prior to their current position, Mark worked as an accounting and transaction services consultant at MorganFranklin Consulting from January 2016 to October 2016. In this role, they were responsible for IPO readiness, M&A/business combination accounting, and supporting all highly complex and strategic transactions from a technical accounting perspective.

Before working at MorganFranklin Consulting, Mark was the Global Director of Accounting Operations at NII Holdings, Inc. from January 2011 to December 2015. NII Holdings is the U.S. based holding company of Nextel in Latin America. In this role, Mark led a team of 15 accounting professionals and was responsible for corporate accounting, statement of cash flows, analysis and review of international subsidiary financial statements, consolidation and intercompany accounting, and internal reporting.

Prior to their work at NII Holdings, Inc., Mark worked as a Senior Manager of Accounting Policy at AOL from August 2008 to December 2010.

Mark Matheos graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in accounting and information systems from the Pamplin College of Business. Mark is currently working as an accountant at a accounting firm.
