Pete Cheslock

Pete Cheslock has a long and varied work experience. In 2022, they began working as the Head of Growth and Community at AppMap. Pete had previously been working as Principal at Unaffiliated, LLC since 2019, where they had been an expert witness on AWS technologies for two law firms. In 2022, they also began working as Principal Cloud Economist at The Duckbill Group, where they helped clients better understand how their product and technical decisions drive their cloud spend. Pete also became an Advisor at Variance that same year. In 2021, they joined Allma as the Chief Product Officer, and in 2020 they joined The Duckbill Group again as a Cloud Economist. In 2018, they began working as an Advisor and VP Products at CHAOSSEARCH, and in 2014 they joined Threat Stack, Inc as VP Technical Operations. In 2013, they began working as Director of DevTools at Dyn, and in 2009 they joined Sonian as Director of Technical and Cloud Operations.

Pete Cheslock attended Michigan State University from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a BA in Communications. Pete then went on to Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, where they completed a Masters in Business Administration from 2009 to 2012.
