Heather Firth

Heather Firth has a diverse work experience in technical communication and training coordination. Heather worked as a Senior Technical Communications Specialist at Applaud, where they wrote support site articles and assisted the development team. Before this, they were a Technical Author at Smoothwall, where they created online help and internal training videos for network filter and firewall products. Prior to that, they worked at Equiniti Credit Services as a Technical Author, designing and building online help for a loan management system. Heather also has experience as a Technical Author at FinancialForce.com and Sopra Banking Software, where they completed help documentation for various software products. In addition, they have worked as a Training Coordinator and LMS Administrator at Provident Financial Services and as a Training Coordinator at Parity Training, managing training materials and booking courses.

Heather Firth BSc (Hons) obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc in Media Production & Technology from the University of Essex, which they attended from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, they completed their International Baccalaureate at the International School of Luxembourg, where they studied English, Maths, French, Chemistry, and Computers from 2000 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, Heather has earned certifications in MadCap Advanced Developer from MadCap Software, Inc. in February 2018 and Introduction to Technical Authoring from Cherryleaf in June 2011.
