Kate Tucker has a diverse work experience in the field of accessibility and digital systems analysis. Kate started their most recent role as an Accessibility Program Manager at Applause in December 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Deque Systems, Inc as a Web and Native Mobile Accessibility Coach from August 2021 to December 2022. Before that, they worked at WSECU as a Digital Systems Analyst from September 2016 to August 2021.

Kate Tucker has a Master's degree in Education (MEd) with a field of study in Human Resource Education: Community College Teaching and Learning from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Kate also holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (BS) from the University of Illinois Springfield and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BS) from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Furthermore, they have an Advanced Level Technical Test Analyst (CTAL) certification from the ASTQB - ISTQB in the U.S. - Official Page, obtained in 2019.
