Ronny Sugianto

Ronny Sugianto has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Ronny currently works at Applause as a Test Engineer II since August 2021. Prior to their current role, they were a Test Engineer I from June 2020 to August 2021 and served as a Test Team Lead from July 2019 to May 2020.

Before joining Applause, Ronny worked at PT. DIGITAL ASIA SOLUSINDO as a Technical Manager & Senior Software Developer starting from January 2018. Ronny also worked at APPStudio as a Project Manager & Developer from December 2017.

Ronny began their career at uTest in February 2012 as a Tester. Ronny gained extensive experience in various testing domains including exploratory testing, functional and non-functional testing, localization testing, usability testing, cross-browser testing, compatibility testing, API testing, and mobile testing.

Additionally, Ronny has entrepreneurial experiences as the Business Owner of SNACK UNIK from July 2017 to July 2019. Ronny was also the Founder & Head of Technical Team at Web Murah Bagus, a web development sub-company of PT. MYME TALA INTERNASIONAL, from December 2012 to May 2016.

Furthermore, Ronny co-founded Tala Inc. and served as a Co-Founder from June 2013 to May 2016. Ronny was responsible for website design and development.

Prior to that, Ronny worked as a Web Application Developer at Ciputra UCEO from October 2016 to December 2017, and as a Software & Mobile Developer at Hidden Apps from June 2011 to May 2013. During their tenure at Hidden Apps, they developed several iOS apps for clients and worked on a web survey application for Universitas Ciputra using NodeJS and MongoDB.

Ronny began their professional journey at PT MYME TALA INTERNASIONAL in September 2009 as the Founder & Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In this role, they were responsible for software and mobile development projects, developing web and desktop-based applications using PHP (CodeIgniter & Laravel) and Java.

Throughout their career, Ronny has gained expertise in testing, software and mobile development, project management, and web design.

Ronny Sugianto completed their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology at Universitas Ciputra Surabaya from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, they obtained various certifications including Kotlin Android Developer Expert from Dicoding Academy in October 2018, Belajar Membangun Prototype Chatbot Dengan LINE Bot Designer from Dicoding Academy in August 2018, and Belajar Membangun LINE Chatbot from Dicoding Academy in October 2017. Ronny also attended the GOOGLE GAPURA DIGITAL WORKSHOP - SIAP DIGITAL by Google, although the specific month and year of obtaining the certification are not provided.
