Lorena Tamez Rangel

Lorena Tamez Rangel has a diverse and extensive work experience. Lorena is currently employed as the Director of Distribution Finance at Hyatt Hotels Corporation starting in 2024. Prior to that, they worked at Apple Leisure Group as the Director of Corporate FP&A and Senior Manager FP&A from 2020 to 2023.

Lorena has also worked at GE as the Global Base Cost Leader for Onshore Wind from 2020 to 2020. In this role, they implemented planning processes and controls for budgeting over $800 million of annual base cost. Lorena also designed financial packages for senior leadership presentations and led the main financial planning processes.

Before their time at GE, Lorena held various roles including an FP&A Income Statement Senior Leader, FP&A Analytics COE Leader, Operational Assistant Controller, and Simplification & Operations Project Leader. Lorena was also part of GE's Financial Management Program in different business areas such as Healthcare, Real State, and Global Business Services.

Additionally, Lorena has experience as an Accounting Intern at Sun Holdings, Inc. in 2009 and as a Business Accelerator Project Coach at EGADE Business School in 2008. In this role, they provided business analysis and consulting services to improve various aspects of organizations.
