Bosheng Zhang

Bosheng Zhang is a Prototype Engineer specializing in camera incubation at Apple since May 2018, focusing on ideating and prototyping technologies related to camera, computer vision, and AR/VR, with notable feature releases including Dynamic flashlight and EyeSight. Previously, Bosheng worked as a Sr. Research Scientist at KLA-Tencor, where efforts included enhancing wafer inspection technologies and developing advanced computational imaging techniques. Prior positions also included System Engineer at Carl Zeiss X-ray Microscopy Inc., where Bosheng engineered 3D X-ray microscopes, and significant research contributions at the Kapteyn-Murnane Group at the University of Colorado, highlighted by the development of a novel tabletop EUV microscope. Bosheng holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Colorado Boulder and has practical experience in collaborative research with international teams.
