Davoud Anoushe Jamshidi is currently a GPU Architect at Apple, a position held since October 2016. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Student Research Assistant and Graduate Student Instructor at the University of Michigan from August 2009 to September 2016, where instruction was provided to students across various academic levels in digital logic, computer science, and computer architecture. Davoud also interned at Intel Corporation in 2012, focusing on product validation engineering, and at Apple in a Core OS internship, optimizing linear algebra code for Intel processors. Earlier experience includes an internship at BAE Systems, contributing to test suite development for the Joint Strike Fighter project. Educational qualifications consist of a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Binghamton University.
