Hanns Wolfram Tappeiner

Hanns Wolfram Tappeiner is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in robotics and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as Director of Technology for Home at Apple since August 2019, Tappeiner previously held the role of Director in the Special Projects Group. As a Co-Founder and President of Anki, Inc. from March 2011 to May 2019, Tappeiner contributed to developing a global consumer robotics business. Tappeiner's academic background includes a PhD candidacy at Carnegie Mellon University's Robotics Institute, focusing on human-computer and human-robot interfaces, and positions at Neato Robotics, where Tappeiner led robotics and perception efforts. Tappeiner holds an MS in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University and a Dipl. Ing. in Computer Science from the Vienna University of Technology.
