Louie Livon-Bemel

Louie Livon-Bemel is a Senior Software Engineer at Apple, with experience on the Translate app and translation features across various Apple platforms. Previously, Louie led feature development for the Safari web browser, overseeing all stages from ideation to launch, and served as tech lead on significant projects such as webpage translation. Louie has extensive experience mentoring engineers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and presenting at industry events, including Apple's World Wide Developer Conference. Louie began a career in software development as an intern at Apple and has also worked with Rifr, Inc. and General Mills, focusing on user-centric features and system enhancements. Louie earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota.
