Mingbin Xu

Mingbin Xu is a seasoned professional in the field of machine learning with a significant tenure at Apple starting in October 2017, currently serving as a Principal in Machine Learning R&D, focusing on Automatic Speech Recognition, on-device Machine Learning, Differential Privacy, and Federated Learning. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Machine Learning R&D and Machine Learning Engineer at iFLYTEK Laboratory for Neural Computing and Machine Learning at York University from February 2014 to September 2017, along with multiple positions at Apple as a Software Developer working on core machine learning algorithms for Siri. Mingbin also gained experience as a DB2 SQL Compiler Continuing Engineer at IBM Canada from May 2013 to December 2014.
