Naveen Madapana

Naveen Madapana is a skilled Machine Learning Research Engineer at Apple since March 2023, previously serving as an Applied Scientist II at Amazon Lab126 from February 2022 to January 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at Purdue University from September 2016 to December 2021, where projects focused on Intelligent Systems and Assistive Technologies under Dr. Juan Wachs, and a Machine Learning Scientist Intern at Facebook Reality Labs during the summer of 2021, developing models for virtual and augmented reality applications. Naveen also held the position of Research Scholar at the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, from August 2013 to August 2016. Academically, Naveen earned a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from IIT Guwahati.
