Yaprak Akdere

Yaprak Akdere is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and machine learning. Currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning and Software Engineering Manager at Apple, Yaprak leads a team focused on developing privacy-respecting machine learning technologies for the Camera and Photos division. Previously, in roles at Yummly and Zoosk Inc., Yaprak played a key role in building innovative mobile applications, including a widely recognized recipe app and a high-quality dating application with millions of downloads. With additional experience at Mercedes Benz of Turkey and Beko Elektronik, Yaprak possesses a solid foundation in engineering, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Istanbul University and certifications in mobile application development.
