Ken Abe

Ken Abe started their work experience as a Software Engineer at SunGard Trading Systems in 2003, where they developed algorithmic trading API using C#.NET. Ken then moved on to Artorius Management LLC in 2005, where they were a Lead Software Developer responsible for building a trade management platform and improving prediction models. In 2007, they joined Pacmid Technologies as a Senior Software Developer, leading a team and developing a range of software tools for a high-frequency trading brokerage. From 2013 to 2020, Ken held various roles at Intent, including Director of Engineering, where they contributed to multiple codebases and drove tech innovation. Ken then worked as a Senior Staff Engineer at Socure from 2020 to 2021. Currently, Ken is the VP of Engineering at Applecart, starting in May 2021.

Ken Abe completed their education history with a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from New York University in 2002. Before that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Business from Sophia University between 1995 and 1999. Ken Abe started their academic journey by studying History at Université Paris Nanterre, where they obtained a Diplôme d'Etudes Universitaires Générales from 1992 to 1994.
