Sean Guthrie

Sean Guthrie has over 15 years of work experience in the financial services industry. Sean began their career in 2005 as a Loan Processor for Bridgeway Property Solutions. In 2007, they moved to Tamalpais Bank as an AVP/Underwriter. After three years, they joined Torrey Pines Bank as a Loan Officer. In 2012, they were a Vice President/Relationship Manager for Tri-Valley Bank, A Division of Heritage Bank of Commerce. In 2014, they were a Credit Products Officer at Bank of the West. In 2016, they took on the role of Underwriting Team Lead at Funding Circle US. Currently, they are a Senior Underwriting Manager at ApplePie Capital.

Sean Guthrie has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Law from the University of California, Santa Barbara, which they obtained between 2000 and 2002. In 2014, they obtained a Financial Management certification from Cornell University. Sean is currently pursuing an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology, which they expect to complete in 2022.
