Lukasz Garncarek, PhD

Lukasz Garncarek, PhD has a varied work experience. From 2014-2015, they were an Intern at the Institute of Mathematics, Polish Academy of Sciences. Lukasz was then an Assistant Professor (adiunkt) at the same institute from 2015-2016. In 2016, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Weizmann Institute of Science. From 2017-2022, they held three roles at Applica: Research Team Leader, Senior Deep Learning Specialist (researching solutions to machine learning problems in natural language processing and information extraction from documents with complex layout), and Data Scientist/Deep Learning Specialist. Lukasz is currently a Senior Research Scientist at Snowflake.

Lukasz Garncarek, PhD received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics from the University of Wroclaw in 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Wroclaw in 2011.
