Sean Smith

Sean Smith is the Vice President at Applico, a position they have held since June 2021. Prior to this, Sean was a Board Member at Treble from September 2019 to June 2021, where they were responsible for corporate strategy and operations. Sean was also the Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer at Tangerine House Inc from October 2018 to September 2019, where they were responsible for defining corporate strategy and growth efforts while managing operations. Sean began their career as an Analyst - Leveraged Finance & Debt Capital Markets at CIBC Capital Markets from July 2016 to March 2018, where they contributed to projects of the marketing team including press outreach, YouTube analytics research and data analysis, marketing strategies, and web design. Sean also spent time as a Debt Capital Markets Summer Analyst at CIBC Capital Markets from May 2015 to August 2015, where they assisted proprietary traders and trading desk managers with equity research and chart analyses.

Sean Smith received their Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from New York University. Sean then went on to receive their High School Diploma in General Studies from New Trier Township High School.

They work with Sam K - Business Designer, Cat M - Analyst, and Melissa Geiss - Talent Manager. Sean Smith reports to Kevin Riebe, Head of Strategy.
