Lawrence Jung

Lawrence Jung has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of scientific research, development, and leadership. Lawrence began their career as a Research Assistant at Stony Brook University, where they developed skills in molecular biology, genetics, and molecular evolution.

Following this, Lawrence joined Applied DNA Sciences, where they held various roles over the course of several years. As a Research Scientist, they served as the primary investigator on numerous projects, developing formulations and recovery methods for impregnating DNA and proprietary markers into various substrates. Lawrence also contributed to the development of core technologies, resulting in numerous patents and significant revenue contributions.

Lawrence then advanced to the position of Senior Research Scientist, where they managed high-profile projects and programs, including those in the pharmaceutical and elastomer industries. Lawrence continued to excel in this role, eventually becoming an R&D Team Leader. In this capacity, they utilized their experience and expertise to build multidisciplinary teams and mitigate risks to ensure successful project outcomes.

In 2019, Lawrence took on the role of Associate Director of Research and Development, reporting directly to the CEO. Later, they obtained a Master's Degree in Biology with a concentration in Molecular Biology from Adelphi University.
