Jeff O'Brian has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Jeff began their career at Consolidated Traffic Controls, Inc. in 1983, starting in assembly and warehouse duties before transitioning to a sales position which they held from 1989 to 1999. During this time, they developed strong relationships and gratitude towards the company's former owner.
In 1999, Jeff joined 3M ITS as a Systems Consultant, where they managed regional sales and had a diverse customer base that included transportation and public safety officials. Jeff remained with the company until 2006.
From 2006 to 2016, Jeff worked at Econolite as a Business Development professional. In this role, they were responsible for achieving sales targets, formulating marketing strategies, and keeping track of market intelligence. Jeff presented business proposals and monitored competitive activity in the industry.
Since 2016, Jeff has been working at Applied Information, Inc. Jeff initially joined as a Business Development Manager, managing sales guidance and support in the Midwest. In 2020, they were promoted to the role of Vice President of Distribution. In this position, they develop selling channels and internal support functions to foster growth opportunities and sales.
Throughout their career, Jeff has gained extensive experience in sales, business development, and management roles, specializing in traffic and transportation systems.
Jeff O'Brian completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration at Century University from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, from 1983 to 1985, they pursued business studies at The University of Texas at Arlington, although they did not obtain a degree from there. In July 2011, Jeff obtained a Certificate of Completion in Preparing for Leadership from the American Management Association.
