Andrea Collins

Andrea Collins is an incoming Software Engineer at Applied Intuition, beginning in 2022. Andrea is also a Dean's Graduate Student Advisory Councilor at Stanford University School of Engineering, focusing on initiatives to improve engineering students' experiences, with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Additionally, Collins is a Course Assistant/Instructor at Stanford University, a Software Engineer Intern at Google, a Decision Analysis Researcher at Stanford University Department of Management Science & Engineering, a Product Engineering Intern at Prairie Health, a Software Engineering Intern at Flatiron Health, a STEP Intern at Google, a CS198 Section Leader and Diversity Recruitment Lead at Stanford University, and a Summit Co-Director at Stanford ASES. Collins' research at Stanford University Department of Management Science & Engineering included an Honors Thesis, "A Markov Model-Based Cost-Effectiveness Analysis of Interventions for Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease and Steatohepatitis". At Flatiron Health, they designed and implemented an automated query API for OncoTrials. At Stanford ASES, they co-directed Summit, a weeklong global student entrepreneurship conference, and managed a budget of $25,000 and an organizational team of 25 Stanford students.

Andrea Collins is a graduate of Stanford University, having earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from 2018 to 2022, and a Master of Science in Management Science and Engineering from 2021 to 2023.
