Arno Fleck has worked in a variety of roles in the technology sector since 1998. Arno began their career as an Intern/temporary worker at SAP, where they worked on transitioning existing programs to the new enjoy design of SAP/R3 version 4.6 in 1999, as well as beta-testing existing applications and the conception, development, and maintenance of smaller projects. In 2007, they became a Lead Developer in Ticketing and Payment Backends at CTS EVENTIM AG & Co. KGaA, where they worked on an international, large-scale, high performance ticketing system developed in C++. That same year, they also worked as an Engineer Intern/Diplomarbeit at IBM, where they developed a media center based on the Cell processor, particularly familiarizing himself with the H.264 video codec and the specialties of programming this processor. In 2011, they began working as a Software Engineer in CorpEng at Google, where they worked on multiple internal solutions with a focus on backend work, developed in Java, C++, and Javascript. Arno'sprojects included an application to track product launches across the company, a new personalized internal landing page with news and personal information, tools for booking and facilitating business travel, and the internal search engine and foundation for Google Cloud Search. In 2018, they began working at Lyft as a Senior Software Engineer at Level 5 (Autonomous Driving), where they worked on localization and mapping, particularly on scaling the pipeline and running it on AWS. Arno also designed and developed backend systems, primarily in C++. Most recently, in 2020, they began working at Applied Intuition as an Engineering.
Arno Fleck attended the University of Tübingen from 2001 to 2007, where they earned a degree in Informatik and achieved the title of Diplom-Informatiker.
