Jim Tennant's work experience begins in 2017 as a Cable Technician at Professional Communications Services. In 2018, they became a Help Desk Specialist at Gold Star Mortgage Financial Group, providing desktop and phone support and writing PowerShell scripts. In 2019, they transitioned to a Junior System Administrator role, where they worked with AWS, managed migrations, and decommissioned old domain controllers. In 2021, they joined Robert Half as a System Administrator, leading a team and working on a Disaster Recovery project. In 2022, they became a Client Services Engineer at Worksighted, responsible for remote support and working with various systems. Currently, in 2023, Jim is employed at Applied Intuition as an Engineer.
Jim Tennant completed their education at DeVry University from 2017 to 2019, where they obtained an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Network Systems Administration, specializing in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. Additionally, they received several certifications from CompTIA, including CompTIA IT Operations Specialist – CIOS Stackable Certification in September 2021, CompTIA Network+ ce Certification in September 2021, and CompTIA A+ Certification in May 2019.
