Rami Manna has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and research. Rami started their career as an Undergraduate Researcher at the MIT Media Lab in 2016, where they worked on projects related to AI diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy and implemented web platforms for Human + AI experiments. In 2017, they served as a Lab Assistant for the Intro to Deep Learning course at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
During their time as a Chief Technical Officer at Lean On Me Peer Support starting in 2017, Rami led a team of software engineers in building a confidential SMS peer support hotline. This hotline now operates at 10 major universities across the United States.
In 2018, Rami worked as a Software Engineering Intern at both Audible, Inc. and Intel Corporation, where they gained practical experience in building Audible's Help Center and worked on software engineering projects.
From 2018 to 2020, Rami worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, supporting various courses and providing guidance to students.
In 2019, Rami joined the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) as a Research Assistant, conducting research in speech and natural language processing in collaboration with the Spoken Language Systems group.
In the same year, Rami also interned as a Software Engineering Intern at Yelp, where they gained industry experience and contributed to software engineering projects.
Currently, Rami is working at Applied Intuition, a company that specializes in advanced simulation software for autonomous vehicles.
Rami Manna completed their undergraduate education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2015 to 2019, where they pursued a degree in 6-3 Computer Science. Following their undergraduate studies, Rami continued their education at the same institution, completing a Master of Engineering - MEng degree in Computer Science from 2019 to 2021.
