Ruta Joshi has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Ruta started their career as a Data 8 Undergraduate Student Instructor at UC Berkeley in 2017 where they taught lab sections, developed and graded course material, and held review sessions for large classes. Ruta then worked as a Research Assistant at AUTOLAB, also at UC Berkeley, where they worked on training robots for various tasks.

In 2018, Ruta joined Space Technologies At California (STAC) as an AI Rover Team Developer, where they designed and developed AI models and implementation software for autonomous driving in a lunar environment. Ruta also worked at UC Berkeley as a CS 161 Undergraduate Student Instructor, teaching computer security to a large class of over 400 students.

Ruta's work experience continued in 2020 at Anduril Industries, where they served as a Computer Vision Intern. Here, they implemented a video-based object detection network and contributed to ML infrastructure. Ruta then joined Stanford University as a Course Assistant for several computer science courses.

In 2021, Ruta worked as a Software Engineer at Spiral Labs and as a Researcher at Stanford Robotics Lab, where they focused on construction robotics for civil engineering applications and vision applications for healthcare robotics.

Ruta'smost recent work experience is at Applied Intuition, where they started in 2022 as an Engineer. Overall, Ruta's work experience showcases their expertise in robotics, computer vision, and teaching in the academic and industry sectors.

Ruta Joshi completed their high school education at Monta Vista High School from 2011 to 2015. Afterward, they pursued their bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley from 2015 to 2019. Following their undergraduate studies, they attended Stanford University, where they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from 2019 to 2022.
