Yaser Khalighi, Ph.D.

Yaser Khalighi, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Yaser is currently employed at Applied Intuition as a member of the Product team, starting in 2023. Prior to this, Yaser founded and served as CEO of SceneBox, a DataOps platform for Computer Vision that was eventually acquired by Applied Intuition in 2020. Their tenure at SceneBox lasted from the start of the company until March 2023.

Before their role at SceneBox, Yaser worked at Phantom AI in 2018 and 2019, where they focused on building a production-grade AI platform. From 2014 to 2017, they served as Senior Manager of Data Analytics at Ericsson, where they led the development of various data products for Ericsson's MediaFirst IPTV solution.

Yaser's career also includes a managerial role at Altair from 2011 to 2014, where they were responsible for the design and implementation of simulation algorithms for complex fluid mechanics phenomena. Prior to Altair, they held a technical lead position at Cascade Technologies Inc. from 2009 to 2011.

Yaser's earliest work experience was as a Research Assistant at the Center for Turbulence Research, Stanford University, where they developed a novel numerical technique for predicting sound generated by turbulent flows. Yaser worked on this project from 2004 to 2009.
