Gaurav Thareja

Gaurav Thareja is an accomplished professional in semiconductor technology and engineering, currently serving as Director of Process Integration at Applied Materials since 2021. Thareja has over two decades of experience, including founding and leading operations as Chief Operating Officer at a startup from 2019 to 2021. Previous roles at Applied Materials include Senior Staff Manager, where Thareja played a key role in establishing the Integrated Material Solutions group, and Senior Staff Engineer. Prior experience at Intel Corporation involved significant contributions to 10nm transistor technology development. Gaurav has also lectured at Stanford University and conducted advanced research in semiconductor processes, earning multiple patents and awards. Thareja holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and has participated in the Executive Leadership Program at UC Berkeley.
