Ilkka Laakeristo

Ilkka Laakeristo has extensive experience in strategic and portfolio management, particularly within the technology and semiconductor industries. From March 2021 to January 2023, Ilkka served as the Head of Strategy and Portfolio Management for the Picosun ALD Business Unit at Applied Materials, playing a key role in business unit leadership. Following the acquisition of Picosun by Applied Materials in June 2022, Ilkka continued to lead strategy and operational development. Prior to this, Ilkka held significant positions at Nokia, focusing on company-wide transformation initiatives and strategic financial planning. Ilkka also contributed to business development and M&A activities at Kemira and provided management consulting services at Reddal. Ilkka holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Aalto University.
