Danielle Derman

Danielle Derman, M.S., serves as the Associate Director of Learning Experience at Applied Medical since May 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing the analysis, design, development, launch, and evaluation of diverse learning experiences across various training areas. Previous roles include Senior Instructional Designer and Instructional Designer II at Santa Barbara City College, where course development utilized platforms like Moodle and Canvas, alongside teaching Interpersonal Communication and Financial courses. Danielle also worked as an Education Associate at Santa Barbara Zoological Gardens, enhancing online curriculum and outreach efforts, and held internship positions at the Royal National Institute of Blind People and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Boston University. Danielle holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from the University of California, Davis, graduating summa cum laude, and a Master’s Degree in Mass Communication from Boston University.
