John Rhoades

Vice President, Client Services at Applied Predictive Technologies

John Rhoades has over 20 years of work experience in the analytics and consulting industries. John most recently worked at Applied Predictive Technologies as the Vice President of Client Services, where they were responsible for building and maintaining client relationships. Prior to that, they held the role of Principal of Client Services at the same company.

Before their time at Applied Predictive Technologies, John worked at PETCO Animal Supplies, Inc. for over 10 years. John started as the Manager of Analytical Services, where they introduced statistical methods and managed the Test & Learn team. John then took on the role of Manager of Merchandise Planning & Analysis, where they oversaw the financial and inventory planning for the Dog Division. John was later promoted to Manager of Product Strategy, where they led a team in optimizing space productivity and assortment planning. Finally, they became the Director of CMO Analytics, where they were responsible for various analytical functions, including promotional effectiveness and retail performance analytics.

Prior to their time at PETCO, John worked at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young as an Engagement Manager, where they implemented process improvement and IT solutions for Fortune 500 companies in industries such as aviation, aerospace, defense, and retail. John specialized in supply chain management, large-scale system implementations, process reengineering, engineered standards, and change management.

John Rhoades earned their BA in Quantitative Economics from UC San Diego, where they studied from 1985 to 1990. John then went on to pursue an MBA from the Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business, specializing in Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Information Systems, and Technology. John completed their MBA from 1994 to 1996.
