Adam Amos-Binks, Ph.D. has a strong background in artificial intelligence research and applications. Adam has worked as a Chief Scientist at ARA, where they led proposals and identified funding opportunities for AI research. Adam also applied emerging AI research to traditional engineering challenges. Prior to that, they were a Science Advisor and Technical Director at North Carolina State University, where they built a multi-disciplinary team and established a leading-edge research agenda. Adam also worked as a Machine Learning Researcher and Special Liaison Officer at the National Security Agency, where they represented Canadian interests and contributed to collaborations with IBM for large-scale data science and machine learning in cyber security. Adam Amos-Binks, Ph.D. completed their Bachelor of Computer Science degree at the University of New Brunswick from 1998 to 2003. Adam then pursued their Master of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Carleton University, graduating in 2012. Finally, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence from North Carolina State University, where they studied from 2014 to 2018.
