Jay Hineman

Jay Hineman is a Senior Engineer at ARA since June 2024, following an extensive tenure at Geometric Data Analytics, Inc., where roles included Chief Solutions Architect, Senior Mathematician, and Mathematician from April 2016 to June 2024. This experience involved the development and application of mathematical, statistical, and computational tools for complex projects in target tracking, logistics, supply chain modeling, and cybersecurity analysis. Previously, Jay served as a Peter M. Curran Research Instructor at Fordham University from August 2013 to August 2016 and as a Visiting Lecturer in Mathematics at the University of Kentucky from August 2012 to August 2013, focusing on large course management and instruction. Jay also held a Graduate TA position at the University of Kentucky from August 2007 to May 2012, where responsibilities included course design and instruction across various mathematics levels. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Mathematics and a graduate certificate in Computational Fluid Dynamics from the University of Kentucky, an MS in Mathematics from Northern Arizona University, and a BS in Mathematics from Northern Arizona University.
