Gennady Kreukniet

Gennady Kreukniet has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Currently, they serve as the Chief Information Security Officer at Applied Risk - Critical Infrastructure Made Secure. In this position, they are responsible for establishing security policies, empowering colleagues in security awareness, and running internal strategic security projects. Prior to this, they held roles as a Senior OT Security Consultant and an OT Security Consultant at the same company.

Before joining Applied Risk, Gennady worked at DNV, where they held positions as a Senior Consultant, Digital Innovation Consultant, and Smart City APAC Consultant. At Over Morgen, they worked as a Flexworker for a year. Gennady also served as the Member's Council Representative at VSSD, where they were initially a member of the council before becoming the discussion leader. Additionally, Gennady worked as a City Councillor for Gemeente Delft, where they were responsible for external relations and preparations for the city council elections. Gennady also worked as the Chairman of the Board at STIP (Students Technology in Politics).

Furthermore, Gennady has experience as an Electric Transport Ambassador at the Dutch Organisation for Electric Transport and as an Ambassador at United Academics. Overall, Gennady has demonstrated a strong skill set and a passion for various fields throughout their career.

Gennady Kreukniet completed their education history as follows:

From 2017 to 2018, they attended Leiden University where they earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Crisis and Security Management.

Prior to that, they studied at Delft University of Technology from 2009 to 2016. During this period, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in System Engineering, Policy Analysis, and Management.

In 2008 to 2009, Gennady attended the American International School Johannesburg where they completed the International Baccalaureate program.

Before that, from 2007 to 2008, they studied at the British International School Shanghai, Pudong Campus, where they completed the first year of the International Baccalaureate program.

Lastly, they attended the same school from 2005 to 2007, where they earned the International General Certificate of Secondary Education.
