Jalal Bouhdada

Jalal Bouhdada has amassed a wealth of experience in the field of cybersecurity. Jalal began their career as a Security Analyst at Unisys in 2003, where they worked until 2007. Jalal then joined BT as a Senior Security Consultant from 2008 to 2010. Following that, Jalal worked at Verizon Business, first as the Head of GRC, Professional Services (Netherlands) from 2010 to 2011, and then as a Principal Security Consultant from 2010 to 2011. In 2012, they took on the role of Process Control Domain Security - Regional Technical Expert at Shell, while also establishing their own company called Applied Risk B.V, where they served as Founder & CEO. Jalal's company, Applied Risk, focused on providing secure and reliable Operational Technology (OT) and IIoT assets to clients in critical industrial sectors. Jalal continued to lead Applied Risk until 2022, when they joined DNV as a Group R&D Board Advisor. Most recently, in 2023, Jalal joined 33N Ventures as an Expert Advisory Board Member.
