Jim Smith

Jim Smith is a prominent leader with extensive experience in innovative strategy and consulting across various sectors. Currently serving as President of TheIncLab since February 2022, Jim is involved in advancing human-centered AI solutions. As a Board Member of Business Executives for National Security since January 2015, Jim contributes their expertise to enhance national security through private sector collaboration. In addition, Jim holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at Flinders Technologies and Managing Member at Rundle Ventures. Past roles include Senior Managing Director at Ankura Consulting, where Jim advised on significant financial and strategic matters, and contributions to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security involving public-private partnerships. Jim's earlier career includes significant consulting and advisory roles, such as Principal at Charles River Associates and involvement with the design of Australia's National Electricity Market. Jim earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and holds a degree from Boston University.
