Dr. Irit Bar-Am joined ASI in 1996. Irit is responsible for the development and production of the molecular probe kits. She also plays a key role in developing new applications in cytogenetics and pathology and conducting clinical utility studies. With over thirty publications, she is considered an expert in FISH (fluorescent in situ hybridization), a technique that has revolutionized both research and clinical analysis in cytogenetics. Irit holds a Ph.D. in Human Genetics.
