Les Funtleyder

Les Funtleyder has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and investment fields. Les is currently working as a Portfolio Manager- Healthcare at E Squared Capital Management, where they manage the healthcare portfolio and handles long/short public equity, private equity, and venture capital asset classes. Les is also an Advisory Board Member at Zentynel Funds and a Chairman of the Audit Committee and Nominating and Governance Committee at Reviva Pharmaceuticals.

In addition, Les serves as a Board of Directors member at Applied Therapeutics, Inc., where they are also a part of the Audit Committee and Compensation Committee. Les is an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University Medical Center, teaching various healthcare investment courses. Les is also an Advisory Board Member at HealthEngine LLC and an Independent Director at Acalis Chile.

Furthermore, Les is an Impact Council Member at Boundless Impact Investing and a Senior External Advisor at McKinsey & Company. Les has previously worked as a Consulting Partner at Blucloud Healthcare; Afya Fund, where they focused on investing in healthcare companies in sub-Saharan Africa and implementing ESG principles into the valuation and private equity processes.

Les Funtleyder obtained a Bachelor's degree in English from Tulane University in the years 1987 to 1991. Later, they pursued further education at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health from 1993 to 1995, where they earned a Master's in Public Health (MPH) degree.
