Stacy Kanter

Stacy Kanter is the Director at Applied Therapeutics. Stacy has held many high-level positions throughout their career in both the private and public sector.

Kanter began their career as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Raymond J. Dearie in the Eastern District of New York from May 1986 to September 1987. In this role, they were responsible for various policy committees and was also tasked with business development, client relationship management, and risk assessment.

From 2006 to 2009, Kanter led the strategy and operations for the U.S. Capital Markets Practice as Head of the group. In this role, they nearly doubled revenue and enhanced market and thought leadership for the practice.

From 2009 to 2018, Kanter took on the role of Head of Global Capital Markets Practice. In this role, they oversaw a team of 200 lawyers in 22 offices across the United States, Asia, Europe, and Latin America. Under their leadership, the practice earned recognition as a capital markets group of the year in 2018 by a leading industry publication.

Most recently, Kanter has taken on the role of Director at Applied Therapeutics where they are responsible for business development, client relationship management, risk assessment, and talent development.

Stacy Kanter has a Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School and a B.S. in Business and Management from the University at Albany School of Business. Stacy graduated cum laude from Brooklyn Law School and magna cum laude from the University at Albany School of Business.
