Itay Yelin

Itay Yelin has over 20 years of experience in the field of software development and algorithm research. Itay is currently working at Applitools as a Senior Algorithmic Developer since August 2018. Prior to this, Itay worked at PointGrab as a Senior Algorithmic Developer from July 2017 to August 2018, and at InSightec from May 2014 to March 2017 in a similar role.

Before joining InSightec, Itay worked at Simbionix as a Senior Software Engineer from July 2010 to December 2013. At Simbionix, their work focused on developing image processing algorithms for medical simulators, with an emphasis on patient-specific simulation and 3D segmentation algorithms.

Prior to Simbionix, Itay worked at Allot as a Senior Software Engineer from September 2006 to November 2009. Itay'sresponsibilities at Allot included real-time embedded design and development, infrastructure development for atomic data transaction across multiple platforms, and developing a Linux kernel module for real-time statistics collection and monitoring.

Itay's career began at IDF, where they worked as an Algorithm Researcher, software engineer, and later as a Software Engineer from 1999 to 2004.

Itay Yelin pursued their education at Tel Aviv University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Compute Science and Mathematics from 1996 to 1999. Following this, they furthered their education at the same university and obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from 2001 to 2005.
