Peter Givens

Peter Givens has a strong background in software engineering and has worked in various roles throughout their career. Peter is currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer at Apploi since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Point Health as a Senior Software Engineer from November 2020 to September 2021 and at The Karis Group, a Point Health Company, from May 2020 to September 2021 in the same role. Before that, Peter was a Senior Software Engineer at RigUp from November 2019 to May 2020. Peter also worked as a Software Engineer at HomeServices of America from February 2018 to November 2019. Peter gained teaching experience as a Software Engineering Teaching Assistant at Hack Reactor from November 2017 to February 2018. Peter started their career as a Product Analyst at eClinicalWorks in August 2016 and later became a Strategic Account Manager from June 2014 to August 2016. Peter's earlier experience includes working as a Support Rep at CPSI (now Evident) from July 2012 to June 2014.

Peter Givens earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Colorado State University, which they attended from 2008 to 2011. In 2003 to 2005, they also studied English and Computer Science at the University of West Florida. In 2017, they obtained a Full Stack Web Development Certification from freeCodeCamp after completing a program in Web Development at Hack Reactor.
